Junior Board Members
Marlee Anderson loves the fair and many of the people involved. She enjoys and works towards a connected community and a brighter future for all. Marlee aspires to help the world and the people in it.
Renee Bauman lives in Union, IL and has been showing at the fair since she was 8 years old, mostly in dairy and beef but also dabbles in some non-livestock projects as well. She is in her last year of 4-H and was in FFA all through High School. She currently attends UW-Madison Farm and Industry Short Course and is certified in Dairy Herd management.
Paige Behrens is a member of the Legendary Pioneers 4-H club, 4-H Ambassadors, 4-H Conservation Club and Speak for Illinois 4-H. She shows in both livestock and non-livestock areas at the fair.
Emma Behrens is a member of the Legendary Pioneers 4-H club, 4-H Ambassadors, 4-H Conservation Club, and Speak for Illinois 4-H. She shows Livestock and home economics at the McHenry County Fair.
Miranda is 14 years old, and has been in 4-H for 5 years. Her hobbies are raising dairy goats, guinea pigs, and going on nature hikes. She has taught Agriculture in the schools for 4 years, and has done multiple clinics. Also, her favorite sport is baseball.
Katherine Castiglione has been a member of 4-H for the past 4 years, a 4-H Ambassador for 3 years, and a secretary for her 4-H club, Crystal Clovers. Outside of 4-H she enjoys dance including ballet, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She also enjoys spending time writing. Katherine is excited and thrilled to be part of the Junior Fair Board!
Ann Marie Kamps
Ann Marie Kamps is an energetic 18 year old girl who loves being involved! The fair has been a part of her life for the past 11 years. Annie is also involved in dance, pageants, Volunteer work and is currently class council president and captain of her dance team at her High School.
Emma Lee Kamps
Emma is a recent graduate of Wittenberg University and is going to attend the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall where she will be specializing in large animal medicine. She shows dairy goats, poultry, and horses at the fair and has been an exhibitor for over seven years.
Maddie Kearns has been involved with the fair for her entire life. She currently attends UW-Platteville as a Physical Education Major. She is a life time member of the fair and participates in CERES Women’s Fraternity, which is an all-women’s Agricultural Fraternity.
Seth Kearns has been in the fair since he was 9 years old. His family has been a part of the fair for a very long time and has put a lot of time and effort into various committees to help improve the grounds and the fair.
Brittney Rhyner is involved with dog shows, horse bowl, rabbits and 4-H. She went to compete at the State Fair level with her dog in the 4-H Dog Show Project. She is starting her 5th year in 4-H, has been in Horse Bowl for 3 years and is beginning her first year in rabbits this year.

Avery Sadowski is a member of the Crystal Clovers 4-H Club. She is a 4-H Ambassador, Teens as Teacher and is very grateful for the chance to be part of the Junior Fair Board.
Secretary and Reporter
Brendan Slovacek is a 19 year old from McHenry, IL who graduated from McHenry East High School. He currently volunteers with an organization called NET Ministries based out of St. Paul, MN as a traveling missionary across the continental United States. He always enjoyed the fair as a child and teenager and looks forward to helping continue this experience for the youth of McHenry County for years to come.
