Fair Exhibitor

Open and Junior Open Show

Anyone has the ability to compete in Open and/or Junior Open Show at the McHenry County Fair. These shows are in addition to the county 4-H show that takes place during the Fair. In most cases you are not able to enter the same item in multiple shows. By entering in Open and/or Junior Open you become an exhibitor and get to purchase a Season Pass at a discounted price (listed as an Exhibitor Pass).

Open Show is open to any community member wanting to exhibit livestock or non-livestock items that coordinate with the Fair Book. It is open to all ages from any locale. It is a perfect way to show your skills, talents, and collections.

Junior Open is open to anyone who is 8 years old to 18 years old. You would be competing against other youth within the same age in the same departments. You can participate in both Junior and Open as long as you meet the age criteria. In non-livestock departments you are not able to enter the same item in multiple departments.

Entries can be made by mail (PO Box 375, Woodstock, IL 60098) or in the office. The office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Entries are due by Saturday, July 16th, 2016. The office will be open on that Saturday (July 16th) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Items for exhibit are not due until fair week. Check out the Fair Book for dates and times for drop off and judging.
