NEW ** Photography Critiques **
Optional forms will be available at time of drop off, Monday, July 28th, to be attached to
the back of photograph. If you wish your photograph will then be critiqued by a Professional
Photographer, Photography Teacher/Graduate Student Judge.
NEW ** Captions Requested **
Please add captions to all your work. The Judges enjoy and find it easier to interpret your
work—see Rules &Regs #10c Please review your status as a photographer—see Rules & Reg #3
** McHenry County Photo Contest **
We would like to invite all Photographers who enter in 2008 to enter our Photography Contest.
The winning entries will be featured in the 2009 Fair Book. Contest rules are:
- Photos must be taken at the McHenry Co Fair - July 28th - Aug 3rd, 2008
- Photos must be taken by Amateur Photographers ONLY - No Professionals (see Home Ec Rules)
- All close up photos of small groups or individual persons must include a signed release for each
photograph. (Forms available in Bldg F - Photography Department)
- 5 Entries per person
- Photo entries must be on a CD—Clearly marked with Photographers Name & contact phone number.
- Include a short description of each photo. All photos become the property of McHenry Co Fair / Photography
Dept. Photos used will be given photocredit only.
- Entry Deadline / August 3rd, 2008 7pm / turn into Building F / Photography Dept.
- Winners will be notified by January 31, 2009
